Ordering & Pricing

What is the minimum order quantity (MOQ)?

Our standard MOQ is 50 pieces per instrument type. For new customers, we offer a sample order of 5-10 pieces for evaluation before committing to bulk quantities. Contact us for specific MOQ details.

How do I get a price quote?

Email us at quotes@tahmco.com with the instrument name, quantity, preferred material/finish, and delivery destination. We’ll send a detailed quotation within 24 hours. You can also use our Request a Quote page.

Do you offer volume discounts?

Yes. We offer tiered pricing based on order volume. Orders of 100+ pieces, 500+ pieces, and 1000+ pieces each qualify for progressively better pricing. Contact our sales team for a custom quote.

What currencies do you accept?

We accept payments in USD, EUR, GBP, and PKR. Prices on our website are listed in USD unless otherwise specified.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept bank wire transfer (T/T), PayPal, and Letter of Credit (L/C) for large orders. Payment terms are typically 50% advance, 50% before shipment for new customers. Established customers may qualify for NET 30 terms.

Products & Quality

What materials do you use?

We primarily use imported German stainless steel (AISI 410 and AISI 420). We also offer tungsten carbide inserts for needle holders and scissors, and titanium for specialty instruments.

Are your instruments CE marked?

Yes. All TAHMCO instruments carry the CE mark and comply with European Medical Device Regulations.

Are you ISO certified?

Yes. Our facility is ISO 13485:2016 certified, the international standard for medical device quality management systems.

Can you manufacture instruments to our specifications?

Absolutely. We offer full OEM/ODM manufacturing. Send us your drawings, specifications, or sample instruments, and we’ll produce them to your exact requirements.

Do you offer instruments in different grades?

Yes. We offer three grades:

  • OR-Grade (Surgical) — Highest quality, for use in operating rooms
  • Floor-Grade — Good quality, suitable for clinics and general use
  • Economy — Budget-friendly option for training and basic procedures

Shipping & Delivery

Which countries do you ship to?

We ship worldwide. Our instruments are currently used in over 50 countries across North America, Europe, Middle East, Africa, and Asia-Pacific.

What are the shipping options?

  • DHL/FedEx Express — 3-5 business days worldwide
  • Air Freight — 5-10 business days for larger orders
  • Sea Freight — 25-40 days for bulk/container orders (most economical)

How are instruments packaged for shipping?

Each instrument is individually wrapped in protective film, placed in a labeled polybag, and packed in sturdy export cartons with foam padding. Custom retail packaging is available for OEM orders.

Do you provide export documentation?

Yes. We provide all required export documents including commercial invoice, packing list, certificate of origin, CE certificate, and Free Sale Certificate.

After-Sales & Warranty

What warranty do you offer?

All OR-Grade instruments come with a 2-year warranty against manufacturing defects. Floor-Grade instruments carry a 1-year warranty. Warranty does not cover normal wear, misuse, or improper sterilization.

Do you offer instrument repair or sharpening?

Yes. We offer re-sharpening and refurbishment services for TAHMCO instruments. Contact us for return shipping instructions and pricing.

What if I receive a defective instrument?

Contact us within 7 days of receiving your order with photos of the defect. We’ll replace the instrument free of charge or issue a credit for your next order.
