What’s Covered
- Manufacturing defects in material or workmanship
- Premature corrosion under normal use and proper sterilization
- Joint failure or misalignment not caused by misuse
- Defective ratchet mechanisms
- Faulty tungsten carbide inserts
What’s Not Covered
- Normal wear and tear from regular use
- Damage from dropping, improper handling, or misuse
- Corrosion due to improper cleaning or sterilization methods
- Damage from unauthorized repair attempts
- Instruments used beyond their intended purpose
Returns Process
- Contact Us — Email returns@tahmco.com within 7 days of receiving your order (for defects discovered upon delivery) or within the warranty period (for defects that develop over time). Include photos of the issue.
- Return Authorization — We’ll review your claim and issue a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number within 2 business days.
- Ship the Instrument — Send the defective instrument to our facility using the provided shipping address. Include the RMA number on the package.
- Inspection — Our quality team will inspect the returned instrument within 3 business days of receipt.
- Resolution — We’ll either replace the instrument with a new one (shipped free of charge), issue a credit toward your next order, or repair and return the instrument at no cost.
Damaged Shipments
If your order arrives with damaged packaging or instruments:
- Document the damage with photos before unpacking
- Contact us within 48 hours of delivery
- We’ll file a claim with the shipping carrier and replace the damaged instruments
Cancellation Policy
- Before production: Full refund of any advance payment
- During production: 50% refund (materials already committed)
- After shipment: Subject to return policy above
